I have lived at Avalon for about 2 years now. This is my 5th or 6th apartment since I moved out to the West Coast and I can honestly say it is the best. I'm not going to say in any way that it is perfect. All communities have their ups and downs but I will say that the staff and apartments are wonderful. I have seen a couple of staff members come and go during that time I have been there. But I feel that the best staff is there now. The manager is very nice and considerate. Even though she can't always give me the fix that I want for my problem she definitely does everything she can to handle them appropriately. I have come to realize that some things are just out of the staffs control. The rest of the office staff is wonderful and from what I can tell if you pay your rent on time and are a good neighbor you won't have any problems. I have had a couple of noise complaints about my neighbors since I have lived there and they have always taken care of them. Some of the issues went quicker than others and one of my neighbors even went and apologized to all of his neighbors in the building after having a meeting with the manager about the complaints. (He went door to door because he didn't know who actually complained and just wanted to make sure he apologized to everyone.) Since then he has been the perfect neighbor. You have to love that!

The parking is a little tight at times but everyone has an assigned spot and if anyone (not a resident) ever parks in my spot they are towed right away. No matter what time it is. Aaron the maintenance guy has even towed someone for me in the middle of the night!! Now that is dedication.

I guess all I am trying to say is that if you want wonderful staff... a cute apartment... great monthly activities and parties... for a reasonable price... Avalon is it. I hope you love it as much as I do.
