When we looked at the place in January we were excited! We were anticipating a move from a 4-bedroom 3-bath home into a 3-bedroom apartment. We moved in at the end of March of 2008. Our apartment is in excellent shape and any maintenance concerns are promptly taken care of.

The parking issues are hopefully taken care of now with a restructure of covered parking spots. They have tried to accomodate everyone and you cannot please all. Our spot was far away from our apartment but is now a lot closer. The street parking is an issue but if you are realistic, parking is probably an issue at most complexes.

As far as affordability, this apartment complex is priced right. Everyone should go around Gresham and price what apartments are and how well maintained they are. We looked everywhere in Gresham and this complex had everything we were looking for. You pay for what you get.

The management has changed but they do continue to be very pleasant. It has been a very nice adjustment and we look forward to a long residency with Columbia Trails. Anyone considering this complex will be making an excellent choice!

Obviously this person is from the management trying to overshadow all of the negitive comments. This person has not lived here long and just wait until they move out. They will get move out costs of items that don't exist. When we moved out one of the charges we received was cleaning from under the refrigerator... during our movein walk through it was not indicated that we should verify the floor under the refrigerator should be checked for cleanliness... this is just one of a long list of items that we were charged for that would fall under normal wear. I strongly suggest you do check out other appts and pricing... this one is way overpriced. Notice this user is anonymous

I am not a negative person, but yes... this had to be written by one of the staff, or someone paid by Columbia Trails. These people have no ethics or judgement. Living here was the worst year of my life. They will try and charge you bogus fees. And never lift a finger to help when you really need it. (Like dealing with a noisy neighbor, or leaky window.) They see you as money, you are not a person to them.

Again, I am not with management nor have I been paid by management. It is possible to have something positive to say and not be with management. You can make your time here what you want. I have never had a problem with the office or maintenance staff. They have always addressed any issues I have had within a reasonable amount of time. Also, the staff has always been very friendly. I would guess that you have either not paid rent on time or if you have moved, you damaged the property. Anyone looking at this place will make the right decision to move here!
