This was my first apartment with my first roommate. We were only 18. We kept the apartment semi clean. These were bran new townhome apartments, so the yeard was still mud. The laundry door fell off the hinges and put a hole in the wall while my manager was over and she said she would get it fixed. She never fixed it and then charged us for it when we moved out. They also charged us for 13 bags of garbage that we did not leave and several other bogus things. There was an ant problem that was not solved. You could hear the person next door go up and down the stairs and when they talked to eachother. And my car got broken into, my best friend's car got broken into, my next door neighbor and his friend's cars got broken into and another neighbor's car got stolen. And to top it all off, we refused to pay for the phony charges when we moved out. The apartments did not try to contact either one of us for three years, then all of a sudden my roommate and I found a negative mark on our credit from them. We had a three year old collection that had not been paid. They took advantage of us. All this and we were only there for two months.
