I understand that the residents in the 55 and older building like the place.... that could be due to the fact that they get treated way differently then the rest of us. i lived there for a year and could not wait to get out. as for the thought that this is due to the fact i wont be happy anywhere that is untrue as well... i now live in troutdale terrace apts and could not be happier. when you complain here things acctually get done. i agree with the poster who stated that if they dont like you you get treated badly. our management didnt like us there so we constantly got bothered about things that we didnt do and they even went through our trash once when the garbage was full we put our bag on top and they came and gave us back our trash when it had rained the night before. the maitanence guys are disrespectful and when comming to fix a problem either tell us that they dont have to fix it or complain that our place was "dirty" because we had a cat and of course cat litter. The residents were loud and had parties all the time and people blantently broke the rules while we abided by them but we got charged a 1000 dollars when we moved out. not because of a broken lease but because there was "extensive damage" which was bs. they did not do a walkthrough of the apt when we moved out which is required and they sent us to collections without even attempting to contact us first. we i attempted to watch tv in the clubhouse i was yelled at by the 55 and over residents and accused of stealing the tv remote and told i was not allowed in that building period..... generally i try to keep optimistic but i can not even explain all of the trouble that those people put us through. they are rude, arrogent, and play favorites.... not even to mention that i know for a fact that one of the maintanence guys was a regular drug user as i saw him getting drugs right in front of the building with my own eyes. worst apts ever! and way way way over price for such small barely livable places. i could keep going but ill leave with this.... i respect my elders but they dont deserve special treatment seeing as i acctually paid my rent myself unlike most of the older residents who got special treatment.

You are correct. It's the asain maintanence guy huh? He used to buy drugs from a disgusting person i knew when i lived there for 6 months in 2008. Me and my boyfriend got out of there as soon as our lease was up. The security doors are useless to everyone except me, whenever i need in i did not have my card, etc. the whole place is highly inconvinent, even though they are almost new and look nice. Hotel style apartments are just not for me.

this is so not true, i live in this apartments for more than two years, and i say this is one of the best apartments i lived in, and I'm that kind a person that likes when its quiet ofter 10 o'clock, yes sometimes you can here people but if its a problem for you, you
can talk to the management they will fix any problem the same day!
but it is apartments its not your own house!
I lived in apartments all my live, and i can say whats is good and what is not. i can tell the difference!!!!
about walls yes they are thin like Avery where ales in USA, it is not Europe for you.
about cats its so not true i have a cat and the management totally fine whit that, you just need to make sure, that you home is clean, not for the management but for you! and you will never hear an embarrassing cowman like clean your own home.
the parking lot is the best so much space you wont believe that, you cant find this days a parking lot like that, here its never a problem!
the management is so professional and friendly, they like your family, they are the best,
of-course they have roles that you have to fallow, but it is so normal, and very good because otherwise apartments would be a mess. it is also very quiet here, people are very nice, you wont see a trash people here, no drugs around that i discover. i am not a good writer but i wrote my experience from real life, no fairytale just the Truth! i hope its going to help.
SO THIS IS THE NICE AND COMFORTABLE PLACE TO LIVE IN!!!
