I dunno about all these other bad reviews, but I've found Heatherwood to be pretty decent. Of all the apartments in the area that I've checked out, the interior has been updated and looks clean and nice at Heatherwood. The carpet and linoleum were replaced and the walls were given a clean coat of fresh paint shortly before we moved in.

My only complaint would be the neighbors upstairs who have don't seem to know how to walk quietly, and not drop things on the floor at 1am. But whatever. I've kinda gotten used to it, since it's not all the time.

There seem to be a lot of pre-teens and teens in my area (2 bed, 2 bath apartments) so that can get annoying, but they haven't caused any trouble that I've noticed. Just being kids.

The maintenance guys are AWESOME! We had a problem with our disposal shortly after we moved in (the idiot who lived there before us put BONES down the disposal) and maintenance came in within a few hours to solve the problem.

Management has been friendly. They're not perfect, but they seem like nice people who want to help.

All in all, it's not that bad. I'm considering staying here for awhile.
