I wish everyone who is happy with Heatherwood would write a review. My husband and I have lived in a few different aprt. complexes in Gresham over the years and Heatherwood is definitely one of the nicer complexes. We are pleased to not see kids running & screaming in the parking lots. It's also nice to see the children here are pretty well behaved & not peeing in bushes - like other complexes.

The parking is nice since we can have as many spots as we need (2) - all we need to do is pay $15.00. We had a maintenance request right after moving in & we hoped when we mentioned it we would not receive a nightmare response (since we had just moved in). We received a great response, the part was ordered, and the same day the part arrived, our issue was fixed. What a dream! We had ants in our apartment when we moved in, called the office, an exterminator came out, and we have not seen another ant since. I was so pleased to have management actually pay for and line up an exterminator to come out & take care of it. The company they go through is actually an environmentally friendly company too. How great is that & at no expense to me!

The day after we moved in, the manager called and asked how our move went, if the apartment was satisfactory, and if we ended up having any issues that needed attention. In all my life, I have never had a landlord or manager care so much as to call the day after we moved in - on a Sunday mind you (their day off) - just to see if I was happy with my apartment and how my move went. I was blown away & very impressed.

I hope the garbage issues are fixed soon. When I asked about it, I was informed they were fixing the garbage areas one by one & the work should be done soon. I'm happy they're on top of it since it does look poor - to tenants and visitors (potential tenants).

I was told the hours on the weight room & sauna were changed due to vandalism. Some tenant who came to work out got hot, opened the windows, and then left to go home leaving the windows open. Young kids - who do not even live here - broke in through the windows by removing the screens, spray painted the sauna, and vandalized the weight room. Everything was fixed, at quite a steep price and a lot of work I'm sure, but thank God we're now able to use it again. I don't blame the office for having to be weary of late hours after an irresponsible tenant ruined the "open 24 hours" for all of us.

Still quite pleased and very impressed.
