GREAT place to live with children!!!!

My husband and I lived in building F for one year with our 2 year old son(would have been longer had we not moved out of state).
The managment was very helpful and polite(meaning Angela)although I didnt care too much for Jodi.
Extra parking can be a bit of a problem if you get home from work late but we had a reserved parking spot and never once had someone else park there.
The grounds were kept very nice(lawn mowed, no litter or dog poop).
Our son loved to play on the playground and take walks across the bridge to check the mail.
Our neighbors below had 2 elementary age children who were always polite and never noisy.
Our neighbors above had no children but they also were very quiet.
We NEVER had to call maintenance because we had no problems with anything.
The apt was very clean and in great condition upon move in.
Washer/dryer in unit is a BIG PLUS!!! The one negative thing is there was a murder that happened while we lived there but not in our building(drug deal gone bad)COMPLETE FLUKE.
My husband and I heard the gunshot but the police were there asking questions the very next morning.
We never had a problem with "Drug dealers" around the property-we would recommend living here to anyone!!

I don't mean to sound so negative, but I know the guy had a criminal background (no assumptions here) because the article that appeared in the newpaper the week after the murder said he had just been released from prison before moving into Heatherwood. I was interested in the story because I had lived and worked at Heatherwood shortly before the incident happened.

The murder that took place at Heatherwood didn't involve drugs...don't jump to conclusions. If you followed up on the case it was ice cream truck sale and a completely legitimate contract gone bad. People have to much time to sit and look at the negative, but props to the author of the original entry with such positice feedback!
