Angela, the manager, is just plain arrogant and unprofessional.
She is impossible to deal with and only throws condesending remarks back at you when you are trying to explain your problem.
I could give a crap about her mortgage when something goes wrong in my apartment!! Everyone was excited when there were talks about Oscar, the head maintenance guy, coming back to work here.
The place use to look so nice before he left and that was partly because the guys would walk the grounds every morning and pick up the trash and such.
Not anymore, the place looks like crap all the time!! Maintenance is lazy!! The dumpster areas are absolutely disgusting.
Half of them are nasty, broken down, disgusting messes.
They had a few of them recently repaired, but only the ones near the manager's office, the rest are in terrible shape! People walk their dogs and let them crap all over and no one picks it up.
In their newsletters they're always reminding people they will be charged if they don't pick up after their pets and nothing changes.
I know it's been recommended they install a few of those doggie bag receptacles around the grounds, but then that would just be too easy!! Let's talk about the mold and the ant problem....hmmm where do I start' I've been battling mold in my apt for awhile and one of the maintenance guys told me it wasn't mold, it was smoke marks from burning candles!! LoL..that's a good one...Ants ants and more ants, can't get rid of them.
They have supposedly sent someone around to exterminate but I haven't seen any relief from the problem.
I only wish I could come up with the extra month's rent to break my lease and get the hell out of here.
ps...I never mentioned the run down children's play area.
I don't think in the few years I've lived here they've ever done any repairs or even stepped foot in there.
They should have added more wood chips years ago...If you move in, try to at least get over by the creek, it's beautiful over there and you won't have to look at everyone's crappy patio's and all their garbage left out which they also keep mentioning in newsletters but nothing ever gets done about that either! Parking is a nightmare, there are damaged carports left and right, the police are always in here, lots of car thefts and vandalism at the clubhouse.
Other than that, everything is great!

I would like to leave a remark regarding the maintenance guys and garbage. It took 3 phone calls to the office to have close to 50 boxes removed from between the garages behind the E building. On the final call, Angela told me it wasn't a priority! Excuse me? You mean that all this talk about respecting the property and keeping our back porches clean and picking up after pets is important, but picking up boxes that have been passed by the maintenance guys for 2 weeks is just not a priority?? I'd like to leave a pile of trash in her driveway and see how much it bothers her!
and...we've had mold. It's in our master bathroom and in the master bedroom carpet. We are clean tenants. and...ants. We have ants in the kitchen and main bath. I honestly didn't want to deal with the office "attitude" so I just self remedied the ants.

I live in the E building and I think I know where you are talking about between those two sets of garages. To correct an over exaggeration, there were maybe 15 boxes and I would agree that it was not sightly, however have you ever thought to taking a nice approach and instead of wasting your time bitching on this site, talk it out like a human being or even clean up the boxes yourself. Those boxes were picked up, I am not sure when, in relation to your call, but I saw Angela and Cortney out smashing them down and disposing of them properly. Remember that it was not them that deliberately placed them there, therefor to jump on them would be unreasonable.

Management should have "messes" cleaned up immediately - before the tenants even notice. It's not the tenants job to inform the manager. Guess the people who work there are too lazy to keep up on their property. They should be checking it daily in rounds. Maybe they just don't care that it looks like a white trash complex.

wow i was just on he property and it looked clean to me. if you think about it, there are what, 3 people in the office? and 3 maintenance men for how many units? you are not the only one who needs things fixed or cleaned. clean your own f**king apartment and you wont have ants or mold. they will come because on where we live so just clean it. if you rely on everyone else to clean after you then you have to wait. there are a lot of people who have more immediate needs that they cannot fix themselves. and with so many people who are complaining and calling non stop do you really think they have time to clean up after all the lazy ***holes that litter and don't clean up after their pets? no. if you go anywhere you will see litter and poop. get over yourselves.
