If you currently live @ Holly Ridge: Take it from me, DOCUMENT!!!! Save copies of ALL of your move in papers (NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL!!) Document who you talk to, what was said, when you spoke with them! Make sure if you have a spouse on the rental aggrement that it actually still says it on there. If you don't have a copy of your move in inspection, DEMAND one!! When you go to move out, save copies of your 30 day notice and your forwarding address. If you have to pay move out fees don't do money orders because they're hard to keep track of. Do a cashiers check from your bank, they are free and the bank keeps record of it. If you question your fees do so by e-mail so that you can have a paper trail Don't think that just because you gave them your new address and payment for your moveout fees that your done with them. I was sent to collections under my maiden name, which I hadn't used for years, they said that they didn't have my new address and they had sent mail to it before. They almost got me, but thankfully the collection agency called me at work and was on my side. It doesn't matter how good of a tenent you are, as soon as you put in your 30 day notice your ----.
****IF YOU ARE STILL READING THIS AND THINKING OF MOVING HERE......RUN!!!!!!!!!!! Unless you like dealing with snobby staff, horrible parking, your car getting broken into or stolen (yeah, it happens A LOT!), things constantly breaking, mold......the list goes on and on.
