I have lived at Hollyridge for nearly two years and I think that it all has to do with how you approach the office staff.... I have been in the clubhouse sitting and drinking coffee and I have heard some of the things that the other people who live here say to the women in the office. I know that I would not be able to put up with some of the things that some of you people say to them. I BET that most of the rude people that write on here are the same ones who blow up time and time again, yelling and cussing about mistakes that you blame the office on and for..(but you should know better than asuming that you can park in someone elses numbered space and not get towed!) I dont really understand why its the office ladies fault that you have a late fee when you know darn well that rent is due on the first...it's the same day every month! Anyways before you blow up at the office staff just keep in mind who might be listening or who else looks at these mean messages that you write because you either do not speak up or because of your own stupid mistakes!

Interesting how you ASSUME that the ppl who hate this place are rude!! Seems pretty ignorant on your part I would say. I have never - let me say this slowly so you can understand - I H A V E N E V E R Y E L L E D A T T H E O F F I C E S T A F F. Yelling at the office staff would be - as I stated in some of my postings - low class. That is for the most part who lives here. Low class - 1/2 a step up from trailer park trash!! You are right is saying that the office staff has to deal with nasty ppl - the one thing that you are not even saying is that NO ONE deserves to be treated like a second class citizan!! Don't take out your frustrations with other residence on ppl who have real concerns!! The Office Staff SHOULD be mature and professional enough to know the difference between STUPID and true concerns. They seem to have real problems with that. I have never complained about being towed due to parking in the wrong place - THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH PLACES FOR VISITORS TO PARK. I HAVE NEVER PAID MY RENT LATE - still the office seems to get rude with EVERYONE!! This posting seems to have been written by someone who WORKS IN THE OFFICE - not by a resident. Every posting that I have read has the same trend. NOT ENOUGH SAFE PARKING TOO MUCH DOG POOP NO CONTROLL OF THE KIDS AROUND HERE NO RESPECT FOR OTHERS CATS EVERYWHERE NOISE All of the above are valid points and not things that can be helped or not helped by ones rudness level or stupidity. The only people who can help with these problems and concerns is the management company that runs Holly Ridge - that starts with the OFFICE STAFF!!!

That is very true I also have posted a poor review here and granted I have payed my rent late 1 time which was my own fault but I have never yelled at the staff about anything!!! I very much agree with all of the complaints as the other person and it definatly sounds like this person defending the office staff is indeed a staff member!!

I have yelled at the office staff and I will tell you why. I had a lease that stated rent of $625 TO INCLUDE water/sewer/garbage. After two months of paying $625 I received a 10-day eviction notice. When I went in to discuss this with the office staff I was told "You should know that we don't pay for water." So I was then paying $660/month. 6 months later I get a notice on my door saying I owed them $45 - no explanation what it was for. I went in to the office to find out why and was told it was for utility charges. I explained that I paid for my water in my rent check (which I did). I was told that I would receive a phone call within the half hour to explain the notice. (Up to this point I had NEVER yelled at anyone.) The phone call never came and no new notices were posted so I assumed (NEVER do that with these people) that they found their mistake, corrected it, and didn't have the courtesy to let me know. Well the last day of that month I get a phone call giving me a VERBAL (read illegal) 10-day eviction notice because I hadn't paid them the $45 dollars. I was told it was for a late fee because I didn't pay my rent on time. (I dropped it in the slot on the 4th but because it was after 5pm when I did it - it was late.) When I questioned why the late fee was only $45 (it was $75 at the time which is why I didn't know what the charge was for) I was told that I overpaid my rent the previous two months by $15 giving me a credit of $30. When I stated that I had been paying the same amount for the last 6 months and therefore they owed me money not the other way around - I was told that that didn't matter and if I didn't pay immediately the 10-day notice would be in effect. I said fine I'll move. I found a place, paid $35 to have my credit checked and put down a $125 non-refundable holding fee for the new apartment. The new management company wanted Holly Ridge to fill out a referral form and when I brought it into the office they refused to fill it out because I DIDN'T GIVE THEM A 30-DAY NOTICE OF INTENT TO VACATE and said I would be breaking my lease. Oh yea I went ballistic! They said the 10-day notice had been revoked because they found their error, which they never bothered to tell me. So yea - I yelled at the poor women in the office you bet I did. They treated me with distain and were extremely rude during this whole fiasco - and it doesn't end there. I'm out of this place next month and I can't wait. That wasn't the only mistake the office staff have made and I had to threaten a lawsuit to get them to remove 4 other eviction notices that were in my file because of their inability to do their jobs.
