So, my husband and I just moved out after living in this pit for the last two years. When we first moved in here two years ago it was a beautiful property, every thing was green and well taken care of but, things slowly started going downhill and then things started flying downhill. When we moved out the grounds were no longer plush and green, the only area that was green was right infront of the leasing office, everything else was either dead or on the way to dying. And we can truely say that this is becuase the complex has lost so many tennats to their poor management style, you couldn't even walk into the office with out feeling like you were being looked down on! At our new apartment we feel welcome in the office, the management staff will sit there and talk with you for hours if you wanted, the grounds are superbly kept and green every where, the day after we moved in we noticed that something was broken and maitence was right there to fix it! Unlike at Holly Ridge where you were lucky if they showed up to do your work and if they did it would have to be repaired again in a few months! The layouts at Holly Ridge are poor to say the least with only one window in a 1 bedroom apartment and then the sliding glass door we felt like we were living in a dungeon! If you are thinking about renting from this property I would seriously reconsider..there are a lot nicer places out there with a lot nicer management.

So just to add on to my above message, I am no longer afraid to voice my opinion because I no longer have to worry about retaliation and not getting my money back from the company. When my husband and I moved out we gave them our new address...when it came time to send us our refund check they conviently sent it to the wrong address, I understand that people make mistakes but when they were informed of this error they told me to call the post office that there was nothing that they could do!! So after waiting to see if by chance my check would arrive for another two weeks I decided to call the office, I played phone tag and played their little mind games for two more weeks!! Finally after being ran through their little game I decided that I had, had enough and told them to get me my money or I was going to sue them, they told me that they had 31 days...well It had already been over that time!! Finally a month and a half later my husband and I got our check!! I am so glad that we are done dealing with the staff there and no longer feel like we are slum because of the attitude that they have towards their tennats.
