I moved in here in July '09, with a 6 month lease. I've been counting down the days til I can move out since I signed the lease. My apartment was filthy when I was supposed to move in so I had to wait an extra week & it still wasn't clean. I signed the lease before the previous resident moved out so I didn't get to see it first. It's dirty. There have been used condoms just laying in the hall outside on the floor - disgusting! The health department is constantly shutting down the pools. So if the pools are open, odds are it's just because the health department hasn't been back to recheck it yet. None of the toilets work. We asked maintenance to fix them & they said all the toilets here are the same way & they don't know how to fix it.
I can't let my children play outside here because the kids here have such bad behaviour. They are always beating on each other, cussing at everyone as young as 2 - 3 years old. I've seen children outside cleaning a rifle unattended. Adults fight pretty bad & pretty loud too. Adults chase kids around threatening & cussing at them. Last time I paid my rent a man was in the office reporting that he'd just been mugged in the parking lot in broad daylight. One more reason I can't let my children play outside.. As I'm writing this, the parking lot is full of cop cars, ambulance, firetruck & a news van... I have no idea what's going on.. I can't wait until new years eve when my lease is up! If I'm able to find another place before then, I will break my lease & get my family out of this dive!
