I have lived in Royal Greens for almost a year and I have to say that it has not been a pleasure living here.
Our neighbors below us (who have been living here 20 years) are very loud and rude. They slam every door they have so hard it shakes our apartment, and they scream at each other at all hours of the night and day. Somebody is ALWAYS crying in this unit as well, it s lovely to hear somebody crying and screaming at 7 am when you wake up to go to a nice day at work. Management favors these tenants because they have lived here for so long.
Our first week living here the cops came to our next-door neighbors unit, because a window was broken out by the renter s daughter s ex-boyfriend (the renter who is a drug addict has a restraining order on her daughter, so she wasn't suppose to be in the apartment in the first place). That was a great Sunday night of no sleep...
The maintenance guy usually makes what is broken even worse (if that was even imaginable). But I noticed that Royal Greens has hired a new maintenance guy, so hopefully he can get the job done correctly.
Also, parking is okay, except for the mattresses and other people s crap that is left in our reserved parking spot. We actually found a Christmas tree in our spot yesterday, this gets annoying because people at this complex are too lazy to carry their garbage all the way to the garbage bins (they came within 5 steps of the bins!!!).
The management is unprofessional; there is NO ONE in the office when it is time to pay rent, etc. I have requested for a different apartment and an additional covered spot, it has been 6 months and I have not heard a word as to if I will either of these requests. I am sure that the assistant manager forgot that we had this conversation.
I do have positive things to say about this place. They did allow me to have a 120 lb. German Shepherd in our unit. It is VERY hard to find a complex that allows dogs of this size and that allow this breed. Also, Royal Greens has made the entire complex smoke free. This change is really nice, my husband and I are non-smokers, eat nothing but organic food, etc., so we were ecstatic when management announced this.
I am glad to say that I will be moving into a house and not have sleepless nights because of the noise our neighbors create.

I am the manager at the apartments and I know who this review was written by and I have to say that neither myself or my assistant manager have had any conversations with these residents regarding these complaints in which they are stating. They have never asked for another parking space, or to transfer apartments when we have had something open. As to the police call yes that did happen and I was immediately there and handled the situation and had those people removed from the property. It is true that the residents who live below them have been there for 20 years however, I have never received a complaint regarding the doors being slammed or yelling. If I had received the complaints I would take action as if it were any other resident. These guys do park right next to the dumpster and yes there have been times that things were left in their parking space but we have a company that comes through every morning and our on site maintenance staff cleans the grounds several times a day and removes anything people have left. We try to stay on top of these issues however, I can't control everyone all the time so we just have to do our best to clean up what others don't. I am very sorry that these residents are not happy living here and we would like to do anything to make the experience better. However, I can't fix a problem if I don't know that it exists.

The manager is never available..."Out of the Office", "Out on business", "Working at another property", "Appointment this afternoon, unavailable", "Family Emergency", "Manager Ill", "Office Closed" you get the idea. You can't recieve or handle complaints if your never around even for rent checks. How about on-going problems, dog poop everywhere, smoke-free property...that's a laugh. fences and builds with rotten falling down wood. Golf balls smashing car windows, feral cats living under buildings for years having more litters, spreading fleas and feces everywhere, then they tear up the insulation under the buildings and scratch your car up. Walls so thin you can hear your neighbors peeing. Wake Up
