Worst Apartment Management Ever

If your considering this apartment complex, I wouldn't even waste your time reading further and move on to your next in line interest. I can assure you that your other choices will be better. I lived at this complex 3 years ago when it was a nice community to live in. I moved back about 14 months ago. I have had over 30 work orders in my apartment, most of which were repeat issues. The maintenance is entirely incompetent when it comes to solving any kind of problem. Example, my sink was leaking and it took 4 times to get it fixed and mold had formed under my sink from it. The maintenance tried lying to me and saying that it was mold, but come on, a round black spots that continues to get larger in size...what else could it be'' Also, the bedroom thermostat?s never worked all winter ? several attempts to fix that. The sliding doors have never worked to our washer and dryer.
On to the major problem, the management. I wouldn?t really call them managers, more along the lines of used car salesmen. Metaphorically speaking, they just tell you everything you want to hear so they can make their own pockets fatter. They enforce absolutely no noise policy and will go as far as breaking their own "3 strikes your out" policy in the rental agreement so that they don't have to enforce the rules. My neighbors have extremely loud parties every weekend and the management finds it "hard to sympathize" with us or "can't understand" how several people getting together drinking and playing loud music and partying would be noisy to a neighbor. They break their policy by suggesting to move the people or yourself into a new apartment...at your own expense to avoid being managers! They also one day decided to shuffle everyone's parking around. They did a horrible job. All of my neighbors moved closer, while we were moved in front of a building that we don't even live in.
The ?all year round? pool, has ducks swimming in it, and actually is no where near a comfortable swimming temperature ? same with the hot tub, which unless you like sitting in there with large groups of drunken idiots, I wouldn?t advise it. That?s another non-enforced policy. Not to mention the piles of dog poop all over the place that management makes maintenance clean up vs. the tenants with dogs.
The bottom line is that I see an awful lot of empty spots and apartments, and it?s no wonder why, because people could find the same lifestyle if not better for about half the price. We?re moving at the first opportunity!
