I have been living here about one year and can honestly say this complex has two major negative problems.
1) Overpriced. Why' Because for the area I have noticed apartments for a few hundred less that also include the utilities. Electric here adds up so does the water bills. Anyone knows you can live cheaper around this area. If you're here for a short stay to find something I guess it wouldn't matter. But if you stay longer it's a loss to you.
2)Poor Management. The 3rd management in one year. You heard that correctly. The old ones were nice, and very easy going but prompt. The new management is just unprofessional. Unconcerned, and have a "who cares" attitude. Unfortunatly this is not fair for the few maintenance workers there and one gal in the office who actually are nice. The rest are just nasty. People that cannot handle property management should leave it to professionals that can. Cortland Village was much better off with the old management. Sadly I have seen every single neighbor move save for one.
3) Noise. Well it's an apartment. And thats it. You have to pray you get book readers for neighbors if you like quiet...lol. I don't mind a party as long as they invite me. (Sort of the you cant beat them join them thing) But I can understand where some people come from in there posts because you just can't deal with it all the time.
4) Just to sum it up I really think new management should be instituted here or put the place up for sale.

I totally agree with you!!!! I wrote the positive review for this apartments a couple months ago and I regret deeply what I wrote, I have seen a decline in the management, what happened to the old ones??? it took me a while to realize they were gone... Oh well if they decide to raise my rent when I renew my lease I am definitely moving out!!! Any suggestions for nice 2bd/2bth???? I am currently paying $820 ....Sorry again!!!
