The negative posts surprised me, since I've lived here almost 4 years now and plan to stay here permanently (unless I'm priced out or if the community goes downhill). I really love my apartment, esp the little extras like built in bookshelves and my huge balcony. I live in the bldg corner of Walbridge and 229th, and it's very quiet. I'm blessed with nice, quiet neighbors. I've found the office and maintenance staff responsive and helpful, though I've only made a couple of work requests.
The one thing that has somewhat bothered me is when I renewed my lease in December, my rent went to within $50 of market rate and there was no $$ off January rent as a 'thank you' for staying on. You'd think there would be some appreciation for a long time tenant who takes excellent care of the property, always pays the rent early, and has never placed any demands on the staff nor annoyed the neighbors. As it is, I don't feel I'm valued as a tenant at all.
