Yes, the apartments are spacious, and it's an okay location. Our main complaints involve maintenance and price. It became obvious to us after a while that the maintenance folks were more interested in taking 10 smoking breaks a day instead of doing any work. Our apartment was in the same building as one of the maintenance guys, and it became a joke how often a couple of them would go hang out in his apartment when supposedly they were working. There were a few items that needed fixing and replacing in our apartment, and when someone finally did show up (one item took almost 6 months!), they tried dragging it out as long as possible. I think if one of us hadn't been home, they probably would have used our apartment as a hang-out. It got to the point we did not trust the maintenance guys at all. It also seemed that there was some type of us-against-them mentality: maintenance against management, maintenance against residents. Price is another concern. If we hadn't gotten a move-in special, we wouldn't have lived here. When our lease was up, the options given for renewal were a joke. Raise the rates that much'!' Plus the additional cost of water and electricity were too high. The insulation is so bad that it's impossible to keep the electric costs down once heating season rolls around. So much for trying to keep from wasting energy. One final comment: it did seem that management was more interested in getting new renters than keeping their current ones.
