Heard ,Someone steals the Credit cards from yr mail box.
pretty nuisance there, Mgmt is bad, they will greet u with big smiles for the first time you come to see the place, once you are in they will not fix any issues.
One more frustrating thing was leaks in bedroom during rains. imagine,we slept by keeping buckets to collect water and dripping noise.
It's not worth the price.

Come on.... again how is it thier fault if your mail is getting taken? This looks like a posting that belongs on the USPS website.

It is strange that this is happening to so many tenants.....
As far as the leaky roof goes, same thing happened at our apartment, during the holidays...we had buckets in both our bedrooms.....not fun...

My debit card was stolen out of the mail.. So I had to have it sent to work.. I think the mail guy is terrible.

i lost a couple of gift cards in mail... either its the mail woman or someone who has a whole bunch of keys... I cannot understand how the theives can activate a new card without my phone being used to activate. Twice it happened- my credit card was activated and used -- we have to get to the bottom of all this. I am going to contact post office and the least cortland village can do is to try to change keys.

I am the property manager and these postings were recently brought to my attention. We have recieved 2 complaints both of which have been addressed. We have posted signage that was brought to us by the post office warning of mail theft as many other communities in the area have experienced this is much greater detail than Cortland Village. We have evaluated the mailroom door to ensure that it works and it closes. We have placed a sign on the door to remind residents to close the mailroom door behind them. We have changed out locks on the mailboxes and even replaced 2 of the doors that showed no sign of a break in but that were a concern to our residents. We are working closely with the post office to prohibit any possible mail theft issues.
