So, I lived there for an year, and experienced at least two management changes.
PRO's: Easy access to Max; some convenient shopping nearby; quiet neighborhood; high ceilings
CON's: The manager on-site - sorry for the short word, but best way to describe her, his: a ----- The noise - ceilings and walls are paper thin - you can hear a guy pissing even during the day; Splitting the water and sewer for all building - quite unfair and overpriced; The workout center - old machines, not maintained, smelly at times, and the water cooler was removed(nice upgrade), aside of having broken machines waiting for a never coming repair. Overall property - seem better times, meaning they really are not putting the money back on it, aside the occasional seasonal flower beds Heating - noise, expensive and not efficient AC- uh'... oh yeah, open the windows for a nice draft, and get a full ear of landscaping noise, rednecks fixing/revving their ATV's, and if the mold is not overwhelming, you will be fine Bathroom - nice carpet Layout - if you really must live here, don't get a bottom floor - noise from above, and you might end with a diesel truck parked in front of your bedroom, or living room, which will add some noise, smoke and extra lights to your apartment. Garage - if you rent one - don't put anything of value there - I saw a maintenance guy fixing my remote, and there is no electronic coding inside, so it makes me wonder how easy will be program to another opening code. Kitchen old appliances - small and noisy fridge and dishwasher( just noisy) Laundry old and noisy machines Overall - the place has seen better days, and better management. The upgrades they are promising, but just cosmetic cover-ups. Overpriced for the quality you get, and btw, watch out of what you keep in the However, the maintenance does respond well and fast - in the other hand, the main office ignores complains, like having people using unpaid covered parking spots - so if your car gets dings, good luck finding the culprit In sum there is better, for a better price out there. Even the other look-a-like complex next door is better. ..and somehow, they figure out a way to charge us for carpet cleaning which was never new to start with, and had no more stains than when we moved in. and yes we scrub the place clean before leaving, leaving it better than moving-in day. Nice going!!!!
