I have to say this is the best place I have ever lived! I pay my rent on time and pretty much keep to myself. When I do go into the office the staff is friendly. I don't have issues in my apartment at all so I don't call maintenance.
About the bugs.... Yes spiders and other bugs get in from time to time but that is normal any where you live. Are you going to blame Cortland Village for the rain too' I have never rats or anything like that in my apartment. If you do I would suggest cleaning your apartment once in a while.
I also work in a customer service industry and I know when people don't get their way they will complain about things that aren't that big of deal and even make up things.
About the garbage... it gets full from time to time but I personally have noticed that more on Monday mornings. People tend to clean and take out garbage and do chores on the weekends. I usually do it during the week and don't have issues.
I would recommend this place. The rent is acceptable for what you get; this is a beautiful place to live and is in a great location. I don't plan on moving for a very long time.
