So, I will give you the truth about Courtland Village.
The GOOD: The noise level is pretty good! I don't hear the people around me at all which I think is great. Its close to work and shopping. I feel safe here. I have not had any problems with parking.
The BAD: Well, after my walk through I had at least 7 things that needed to be fixed so, I filled out the work request and signed for them to enter without me being there. After 3 weeks still nobody had came. I called the office and was told someone would be up by the end of the day. After 4 more days still nobody!! So, I called again, and was told again that someone would be up that day!! After 2 days someone finally showed up BUT only 2 out of the 7 items were completed. Needless to say I have now after 2 months finally got everything fixed.
DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR SPECIALS THAT THEY OFFER!!!!!! I was told I would get a $250.00 gas card for signing a 12 month lease, it even state's that in my lease!!! I have still not recieved that yet and every week I call I get told a different story. I even filed a complaint with the BBB and told them I did!! Still they don't know when I will get the card!!WTF!!! Don't promise something that you can't give!!
The attitude of the office staff isn't so great, they acted like I was bugging them by calling asking when I was getting my gas card and when the items would be fixed in my apt. Well, lets see, when your garbage disposal, ceiling fans, bath drain, and missing blinds aren't there or don't work and it's been 3 weeks YES!! I am going to bug them about it I have every right to!!
I work for a large company with new people starting every week and I would NOT refer anybody to live here!!!

I agree about the staff. I signed a lease and was told if I had to move before it was over I would have to pay back my month free and give 30 days notice. I lost my job and have to move, they tell me I can't get out of it unless I find someone else to finnish the lease, otherwise I have to pay the remaining months. Yes I should have read the fine print more carefully, but I would have expected a place like this to be honest with me from the beginning. Very used car salesman tactics. Don't sign a lease with these people!!

We were told the same thing, and when my wife was transferred with Intel the office staff pulled the same thing. They wanted us to not only pay the month we got for free, they wanted me to buy out the remaining part of the lease. She had to turn down her transfer because we don't have $10,000 to buy out the lease. With so many vacancies here (and the high prices), it's not likely that anyone would take it over. We are stuck.

The office was extrememly helpful with me. I was let go from my job just prior to move in and they were very kind at providing me with grace and helping me get things taken care of without a problem.
