To make a long story short, only live here if you want to be babysat 24/7 by an uncaring, suspicious, and downright RUDE staff. I am so glad I don't live there anymore. From the constant "watching" by their employees to the millions of bullsh*t "notes" they leave on your door, you will feel like you live in a prison instead of a supposedly upscale apartment complex. The management made me so uncomfortable that there were many times that I avoided coming home.

PS. Don't believe alot of these reviews. If you haven't noticed, alot of the "ReAlLy FrEaKiN GoOd" ones were obviously written by the same group of illiterate 20-somethings with nothing better to do.

May I inquire to exactly what the mang. did that made you feel like they were constantly watching you? I personally don't mind the "notes/newsletters/memos" they leave on my door. It keeps me informed with whats going in my community...don't see the harm in that... But am very curious about the "Watching.." I never even see the management staff except for when I go pick up packages.

I recently moved out of Courtland Village after my lease expired. I spent 3 days cleaning everything from top to bottom, I recently received a bill for over $2,000 stating that they had to paint the walls and replace the carpet. It struck me that this is a real great thing they got going there. They charge outgoing lessee to upgrade their apartments. The implication is obvious, their overhead goes to nothing and the only person that evaluates the move out condition of the apartment is the management. If you have had similar experiences with Courtland Village contact me at this site. If the problem is as pervasive as I believe it to be an attorney will be my next stop. Ripped Off
