I found the previous ratings/reviews very interesting to say the least. What a difference good management makes! I personally have found Hidden Creek to be perfect for me in my family and I almost take it personal to hear other people bad mouthing was has become my home. From the first contact every employee has been amazing, they went above and beyond customer service and even helped me look for a job since I was new to the area, were never fake or insencere. They were very upfront about all costs, fees, and policies and procedures so I had no questions or concerns about moving in. They gave me a base charge list at move in so I would know what all the potential charges and fees could be when I left, and when we did the walk through they would catch things I missed to add onto the list so that I wouldn't be charged later when I moved out. Before choosing Hidden Creek as our home I did a TON of research to be sure I was getting the best deal for me and my family and Hidden Creek even helped reccomend a few other complexes in the area for us to check out before making a final decision, (some of which ended up being in the top three picks along with Hidden Creek). All in all I truly got the impression that the staff had my best interest at heart and wanted me to find the place that would be right for me even if it wasn't them. The Maintenance staff has always been prompt, efficient and courteous at all times, and every couple of months they throw the residents a BBQ and meet us early in the morning before the office opens and greet us with muffins, pastries, coffee, and juice on our way to work and school!
The community is pretty small and is located kind of off the beaten path a little bit so it stays pretty quiet most of the time, its really close to the max and bus line which makes saving money on gas a lot easier. The property is always clean and looks nice, and I like not having to pay extra on my rent for a pool, fitness center or buisness room because I would prefer to go to a health club where they have all that and more, where I can control when and how long I pay for it etc. and I don't have to worry about my children's safety at a health club because they cannot get there without me or my husband taking them. (It just makes more sense for me and my family.) The manager lives on site and knows everyone by face, name and car and has looked out for me and my children a number of times, something that I have never experienced at an apartment complex before.
Ideally I think just about anyone in their right mind would choose a house over apartment living if they had the means to afford it, but not everyone can, me included which is exactly why apartments exist in the first place. EVERY complex will have its struggles with noisy neighbors, it is just the nature of apartment living and anyone choosing to live in an apartment community expecting to never have problems with it is naive...and to a certain degree its not all the complex's fault. Sure construction plays a part, but personal responsibility, respect and patience is needed anytime you share a building, space or place of living with someone else. I had a problem with a neighbor of mine playing their music so loud the entire building complained, and I think regaurdless of how thick the walls were everyone in the building still would have heard it. It was a one time incident that was resolved that night and I haven't had a problem since then due to the manager's persistence and actions taken. The manager was very professional to every party involved and took care of things very promptly and efficiently.
Everyone has their own experiences in life and differnt people may react to the same situation in different ways and maybe some of the other reviews were from experiences with previous managers and employees...all I know is that the one's that are here currently are AMAZING! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but people sometimes make snap judgements based on some felt injustice done to them without first taking a look inside to see if any responsibility on their part needs to be taken. What are the results' ...in their mind, it's always someone else's fault. (It's human nature to think that way and not something easy to overcome.) Just remember anytime you read any negative review for any place, there are two sides to every story and on websites especially ones like this one...it's easy to only get one side of things, which is exactly why I chose to write this review! Don't take my word for it though...check them out and eperience them for yourself so you can form your own opinion!
