I have read a lot of the bad reviews and I don't agree with them. Seeing how I both lived there and worked there as on site maintenance for 9 months, I have a good idea of the kind of people that are writing these bad reviews.

1. Noise
Yes you can hear things through the walls. Its an apartment. I would say that the sound proofing is better then other places I have been but you can hear some noise. Really though you have to expect that, you have people living above you and beside you. Any where you go you will have this same problem. Its a part of apartment living.

2. Kids
There are kids and yes kids can be noisy. Just as any daycare worker. This is not a fault of the apartments its just a fact of life. If you don't like kids then I suggest lying about your age and moving into a 55 retirement community because, again, where ever you go you will have the same problem. Really the problem is with the parents not the apartments.

3. Notes
Yes they post letters and notes on doors for the residents. Any thing from newsletters, lease renewal notice, candy, etc. There is really no other way to get this information to residents. They never post anything with vital information about the resident in it. By law they cant open mailboxes to put them in and mailing them is not cost effective and not to mention idiotic. I mean to mail something to a resident when they live 200 ft from the office its coming from. If you don't want things posted on your door just tell the manager.

4. Rent
Yes the rent is a little bit on the high side but its all about location. Hidden creek is right by the Max, Intel, shopping, and the city is even building one of the biggest parks in Hillsboro just steps from Hidden creek. Rent is high because of the location. Its really worth it.

5. Office staff
The office staff get a bad rap most of the time. No one likes the person that says you are a months late on rent, or the person who says you have to move your car because you continually park in some one's spot. Hidden creek is understaffed because they have to share leasing consultants with another propriety. So if you come up to the office and no one is there it most likely is because they are on a tour or helping with maintenance and grounds keeping. Give them the benefit of the doubt. They do a lot to make sure that things run smoothly.

6. Maintenance
Being one of the former maintenance technicians I may be a little biased because i know they stuff that they have to put up with day in and day out. Mike is a great guy and really knows his stuff. He is always willing to lend a hand or go the distance to make your day. There was no on site maintenance when i left because i was the on site maintenance. I'm sure they have hired some one to fill my position by now. They always strive to get work orders done with in 24 hours. Sometimes that doesn't happen because of the nature of the request but they will never leave you hanging.

You may ask then why did I quit and why did i move.... I was offered a better job in tigard and needed to move closer. It had nothing to do with the apartments.
