I moved into these apartments because of the previous staff. They were nice, helpful and very professional. Ever since this new management company took over everything has gone down hill. I have requested to have my fridge repaired twice and still to this day they can not fix it and the problem persists. The grounds are never picked up and the trash area ia always a mess. The only time they ever pick anything up off the ground at the apartments is when they have a owners visit at the end of the month. The owner was not in her right mind when she hired this management company. If you actually care about where you live, you will not move into Jackson school village.

I have to say that I disagree with you on some of the things you've said. I know I've seen the maintenance guys out picking up trash in the mornings. I also know that by the time the afternoon rolls around, the place is usually tashed again. I've also found that some people just put their trash outside of their front doors and let it sit there. I've been given warnings about doing that, so I know the office cares about how the place looks. As for how horrible the trash compactor area is, I agree it doesn't always look or smell the best, but what can you expect when there are a lot of people who just dump their trash bags outside of it? When I leave for work in the mornings, I've seen maintenance cleaning up that area. I don't expect them to be the garbage patrol all the time because they have a lot they have to do. I've also found the office staff to be really nice and they always have the time to talk to me and answer my questions.

The problem is that the trash compactor is broken half the time, and when this happens you have two options: 1) Leave your trash in the trash compactor area. 2) Bring the trash back to your apartment and leave it outside your door. Both of these options are against the rules and subject to fines (although #1 is more anonymous). Instead, the management expects you to stockpile your garbage INSIDE your apartment until the compactor is fixed which sometimes take weeks. This is absolutely disgusting, especially if you have used kitty litter to get rid of. They should go back to having dumpsters at every building. The trash compactor thing is just NOT working.
