I feel the need to write this review due to the inaccuracies I've read on this site. Most of the whining on this site is unjustified. The typos and inaccuracies in the grammar of the persons writing should clue you in to who exactly is complaining. Overall, this place is fine. It's exactly what you should expect from an apartment complex, a place to live. Our apartment is nice, spacious, everything works, management responds when necessary, and their attitude is fine. Our water has never been shut off. The gym isn't great, but it works. I've only used the pool once, and it was fine. Sometimes the parking lot is crowded, but I've always gotten a space (there was a short period of construction when it was bad). I truly think most of the complaining should be taken with a grain of salt. A lot of the people who are my neighbors are very likely unhappy with their lives in general, as it seems many of them ended up with less money and more kids than they planned on. I'm sure most people (like me) who live in an apartment wish they owned a home, and are complaining because they don't have control. Want more control' Be financially responsible and buy property. Bottom line: if you are looking for a decent apartment in Hillsboro, this place works. One more note; if your apartment faces the playground, the noise from the kids can be pretty invasive.
