They have a major ongoing bird problem. The birds get into the bathroom vents and poop. Then you have to continuously smell the rotting crap because they are very hesitant on doing what is needed: Tearing away the drywall to replace the soiled venting.

I've read that the mold that grows on bird manure can cause instant death when inhaled. I had to breath that crap for almost a year before my lease was up and I could move to another apartment. I was sick for almost the whole time.

The location used to be nice, but it becomes more like a ghetto every day. Police are always searching the grounds for criminals, even in the middle of the night, hoisting flashlights and running the siren every few minutes just to make sure people can't get any sleep. And I've had my apartment broken into twice, yet the management treats security concerns like a joke.

They had this pet policy of only smaller dogs when I first moved here (<35 lbs). But now there are Pit Bulls and German Shepherds running around. My 30 pound Sheltie has been attacked more times than I care to remember.

And speaking of dogs... I think I'm the only tenant who actually picks up after their dog.

They recently took out all the dumpsters in the entire complex, replacing them with a single inconveniently located trash compactor. So to get rid of garbage, you have to drive around with garbage in your car. Might as well take it to the dump, but you'll still have to pay the steep garbage pick-up fees.

What's even worse is that about 30% of the time, the compactor is broken. When that happens, you have to go back and wait up to a week until it's fixed before getting rid of your garbage. Getting rid of your garbage should NOT be such a hassle!

The "Hotpoint" brand appliances are bottom of the line. The washer and dryer are so loud that your neighbors can hear it in another building. My fridge wouldn't keep water frozen and they hassled me when I asked them to replace it.

Everyone tells me that I should sue this place...

On the bright side, there are so many tenants that have moved out in disgust that parking is no longer a problem.
