If you lived there during Trammel Crowe, don't expect a reference

When I applied for another apartment last year and used the Lionsgate as a reference (the last place I had rented), they informed the screening agency that they had no record of my living there.

After paying $27,000 over two years to live there, imagine! So, I called several times and they told me those records were "in a garage somewhere" and nobody had time to go find them.

Finally I made a personal visit and that did no good.

I went all the way up to TCRS.

In the end, I'm not sure what happened, but I had to pay a higher deposit at the current place.

Now, I'm looking to move again and I called the Lionsgate to give them warning -- got the same spiel -- she said "Those are in a garage somewhere.

It would just be better if you had another reference to use." Appalling, considering the amount of rent I paid there over those years!
