I had a very bad experience in it.

Parking is very bad (to the point that some friends stop visiting us since they could not find parking).
The service is very bad (they entered the apartment with no approval!!!), the place is very noisy and many times there is bad smell. There are small cockroaches in the unit.
There were some cases of braking to the mails and stilling mails.
When there is a problem in the units it takes long time to fix and sometimes you get answers like you can fix it yourself.
The pool is closed most of the year and is never wormed so you can use it very little. The gym is not usable.
The only good thing about it is the very good location of it.

There is nothing wrong with the gym. It is a very nice facility and well maintained. Regarding the swimming pools, they are open for swimming from Memorial Day until Labor Day, like any most other outdoor pools.
You are probably right about the smells though. When I moved in it was quite obvious that the previous occupants had several pets. Apparently they had a favorite corner to pee in in every room. No bugs in my unit though.

what a tool, their is a TON of parking in that neet parking garage RIGHT across the street, I've never see both pools out of service in the two years I've lived here, they posted a notice on your door just like everyone else dumb ass an don't expect for someone to do your work orders at a snap of a finger, the place dose have 200 other units! I think many you need to just buy a house so you can blame yourself for once!

I'm right there with the people saying good about our place of living. One thing though, I believe there are about 350 units :)
Yes, we have a great location and the staff and maintenance have always been great to me. Maybe you just get what you give. Be nice once in awhile. Try being in their shoes dealing with the complainers all the time or the people who simply are not happy no matter what. Yes, I agree, if you don't like it at LionsGate...then find some other place. I'm quite tired of those people who say bad things all the time. I've lived in both a 2bdrm and presently in a 1bdrm. Still here!

The parking garage across the street is for the mall, and they clear the parking lot each weeknight. I don't recommend parking in someone else's parking structure to fix a parking problem at Lions Gate.
Also, NewBee's comment is the same as the standard response from the rental office staff if you call them: If you don't like it here, go live somewhere else.
As a former resident, I highly recommend that you take the Lions Gate staff up on their recommendation and go live elsewhere. There are other decent complexes right in the same area.
