After living here for a while, the newness has worn off. It feels like it's sister property, Quatama Crossing. Take a peek at those reviews. The same management, the same problems.

I thought that being next to the max would be nice, but it turns out that the max runs all night and when my windows are open it wakes me up at night. I also hear the traffic on Cornell all night.

I do like the location, it is nice being in the Orenco area, but like the last comments I wish I had waited for a few more reviews before moving in.

As for the air conditing, it's ghetto. Take a look at it as you tour. It looks like a hotel air conditioner.

Also, as for security, ask about the screening guidelines. They don't even check for misdemeanors!!! I checked Wiki just to be sure that I had this right, but misdemeanors constitute as "petty theft, prostitution, public intoxication, simple assault, disorderly conduct, trespass, vandalism" and they allow these people to live here!!!!

The parking is fine now because not too many people live here yet, but wait unti they're completely full! I cannot believe I fell for Nexus... it is ridiculous to pay for parking- I might as well live in Portland.

Alas, the newness of Nexus has worn off. The model looked nice (as always) but I cannot wait until my lease runs up. The quality of the apartments is cheap and will be rundown in no time. I will not be renewing.

Thanks for the heads up. I think that's a shame cause it could bring in some great money for those apartments, but if things aren't done right they could have some huge problems. I don't think I want to live in a place where they could let creepy people move in there. I'm looking else where.

A speeding ticket is considered a misdemeanor....does that mean if someone received a speeding ticket they shouldn't be allowed to live here?

1. There is no way that the Max AND Cornell road would keep you up all night. They are on opposite ends of the property. You either hear one or the other, and neither one is that bad. Max is not that loud. Cornell is not that busy at night. As for me in my apartment, I can't hear either, even withthe windows open! 2. The air conditioning works just fine... Have you ever used hotel air conditioners? They really work! It doesn't look that intrusive, and there's one in each room. Better than nothing, which is what most apartments offer. I would be baking on the third floor in the summer without it. 3. You DO NOT have to pay for parking! The only thing you have to pay for is COVERED parking or a garage, which is absolutely standard in most complexes. I find a place every single night right near my unit. 4. Your apartment will be "run down" if you treat it that way. Mine looks great. 5. The only problem I have with the management is that they failed to mention the $400 deposit fee for our dog until the day we walked in to get our keys. Other than that, they've been prompt and friendly. It's cool that we can pay our rent online.
