I have not had a problem at all since moving in with my husband a year ago. I would certainly renew the lease here if I was not moving out of state for work. The area is great - right across from New Seasons and some other shops. The apartments are pretty new right now (maybe like 1.5 years old) but, yes they will look shabby after tenants move in and out - that is the thing about apartments that cannot be avoided.

I have called for maintenance 2x. Each time they were here in <24 hours and fixed the problems as fast as possible. I would also say that the maintenance and office staff are all extremely nice.

As for Max noise - never hear it. Some ppl have more sensitive hearing - just wear earplugs if it bothers you. Cornell Rd. noise - of course I hear that - the complex is right off the road. It is just general traffic though, no big rigs or trucks backing up or anything. I have never encountered any 'questionable' ppl here either and aside from the occasional loud walker above, I have NEVER heard any of my neighbors - pretty impressive for an apartment and I live next to a guy with 2 small boys.

The only complaint I have is about the water heater - you cannot fill the nice big bathtub with hot water. It runs out half way - even if you turn up the temperature on the heater. Another note - if heat bothers you do not get one of the apartments that has patio facing west - it bakes in the apartment in the summer months as the sun goes down. Try to get a N - S apartment and you should be fine.
