I moved here from a house I was renting for the past two years. My husband and I decided we didn't need so much space after we got married, so we looked at a few apartments in many different areas. We've lived in apartments before.

1. I never hear my neighbors. I'm in a top floor apartment. The walls seem to be really thick.

2. The hot tub, pool, and courtyard area is well-kept and quite pretty. The bathroom near the pool is nice. I'm not sure how nice they will stay once the weather gets warm, but we'll see.

3. My one-bedroom apartment is spacious with high ceilings and lots of windows (inclucing a bay window). The appliances are nice and it's loft-like. Once I got my things moved in, it seemed even bigger.

4. The bathtub is big with built-in shelves, so there's no need for those dumb hanging baskets or corner shelves.

5. It's dog-friendly and there are lots of other dogs around. There's a very nice dog park about 1-2 miles away. Great neighborhood for dog walking (my old neighborhood didn't have sidewalks!).

6. Very nice area where people take care of their homes and yards. Many amenities very very close. Costco, WinCo, a bunch of fast food-type restaraunts and take-out restaurants, and tons more.

7. The max is very close and is very quiet. I never hear it.

8. Convenient freeway access; five minutes to hwy 26.

I wasn't sure about moving back into apartment life, but I'm really glad that I did. For the price, the apartment is a lot nicer than our house was.

Sounds really nice, but what about kid friendly-ness? I have a toddler.
