We moved in as they were building the apartments. Lie #1: We were told that we would have internet access as part of our rent. Well at least 2 months went by before we got what we were promised.
Lie #2: We were told that we would have access to a new work-out room within a week of moving in. Of course, this did not happen. The work-out room was not ready for several months.
Lie #3: We were told that we would have access to a pool. Well the pool was not ready for nearly an entire year. So all the perks they were using to lure new renters were fraudulent. It gets worse.
We had signed a 1-year contract and paid an entire year?s worth of rent. However, Norris and Stevens Inc. decided that was not enough. They wanted extra money from us. We asked why, they said because we had not inhabited the unit for the complete 365 days. This of course is ridiculous because the important thing is we paid for the full year. After consulting with an attorney who assured me we could take these corporate whores in court not only for the money they were asking for, but for expenses of having to pay for our own internet, pay to join a gym, and pay to join a club with a pool.
We got no positive feedback from Norris and Stevens, in fact ?WE? were accused of lying. We received a letter that incorrectly stated we had not contacted the office upon vacating the unit. A complete lie. I was in the office, handed the keys over, and asked if someone needed to inspect the unit before leaving. We were told no.
THIS PLACE IS PRETTY ON THE OUTSIDE, BUT NORRIS AND STEVENS IS ROTTEN TO THE CORE. THEY LIE, CHEAT AND STEAL! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO PAY WHATEVER EXTRA CHARGES THEY DECIDE TO STICK YOU WITH!
