I was an original tenant at Orenco Gardens. We stayed there for almost two terible years. From Day One the customer service was terrible. Mostly caused by a very young and inexperienced staff. We would talk to one person and get a promise on something one day, and the next, they had never heard of us.
Our rent check was "lost" on more than one occasion, also. And, I agree about the internet connection. We ended up paying for DSL because the connection was so terrible.
Also, I don't know how many times we had to BEG them to fix our toilet and bathroom sink over 2 years. We were doing nothing unusual with the plumbing (flushing nothing but toilet paper), but we were made to feel that their shoddy plumbing was our fault. Once, we were forced to stay the weekend at a motel because not ahving a toilet was not considered an emergency by the weekend maintenance man.
Whenever things came to a head at the office, and they did, we were treated like criminals. I finally gave up trying to communicate with the office staff towards the end of our lease and would only speak to Aaron at Norris and Stevens. He was friendly and professional. Too bad he can't get an office staff more like himself.
We wouldn't refer our worst enemy to Orenco Gardens, not matter how much money they keep offering to convince us.
We thank our lucky stars we no longer live at the Orenco Gardens!
