When I am renting an apartment and I have a concern or a question I expect good customer service. I hope for great customer service, but good customer service is better than the dark haired woman (thats what everyone else is calling her)!!! When I call the office I hope to get someone other than her on the phone. She always acts like your question is so stupid and she can't believe she is wasting her time on you. She always says, "Do you know what I mean'" No, I don't know what you mean. All I know is that your rude, unprofessional, and you don't give a damn about the people who live here. I called the other day to notify the office that a man was in the dumpsters digging around the trash at 5:00 am in the morning. I went out to walk my dog and was startled when a man jumped out of the dumpsters and ran towards the Max station. I called to just to let her be aware of that, because there could be personal information in there and that is a dangerous situation for a young female. I know I don't want to be a victim of idenity thief. I also want to feel safe when I am walking my dog. She seemed annoyed that I called her to notify her of that. She said quote, " I don't know what you want me to do about it now." I was shocked! I just wanted to let them be aware that a man was doing that. I don't expect them to do much, but I expected her to say thank you for letting us be aware. I will make sure to let our staff know and to not throw away anything that may have personal information on. She said nothing like that! She gave me the phone number to the pager number and got off the phone with me. Anyways, I hope she is nicer outside of work, but she really needs to work on her customer service skills. I think this conversation is being misconstrued. I did not at any point say "I don't know what you want me to do about it now". What I did say was that we would like to know about these incidents when they happen, which is why I gave you the after hours pager number. I agreed with you that it is a serious issue that we want to address as effectively as possible and that either paging our staff our calling the police at the time of the incident would enable us to do that. I did say that with regarding the particular 5:30 a.m. incident, I couldn't do anything in terms of tracking down that particular person. You seemed dissatisfied with my responses to just about everything you told me. I try to be very accurate and realistic with what I tell residents who call. I wasn't trying to be dismissive in any way. I believe that the general public should be well aware that there is always risk in throwing anything containing personal information into the trash in any location, and that was what I said to you. I agreed with you several times that I wouldn't feel comfortable if I were out alone at 5:30 a.m. and in the same situation. I did not intend to minimize this in any way. I made the maintenance supervisor aware of it and we all take the incident seriously.
A note to all of our valued residents: If you witness any illegal or inappropriate activity after hours, please either call the office for the after hours pager number or call the police immediately. We all have genuine care and concern for the safety and well being of our residents and our property.

No, you did say, "I don't know what you want me to do about it now." Also, when I told you about it you could have cared less. You said that the person was probably just looking for food. I told you that I was concern about my personal information and other peoples personal information. You said in a rude tone, "Well, everyone should know better then to throw away that kind of stuff." Never did you say, "I believe that the general public should be well aware that there is always risk in throwing anything containing personal information into the trash in any location." That is what you wrote in your response and that is UNTRUE!!! You did not say anything close to that. If you agreed with my concern, why didn't you thank me for calling and alerting you of what happend? You never showed any concern. I never expected you to track that man down or do anything at that time. I just expected you to show concern and perhaps state that you would alert your co-workers to keep their eyes and ears open. You never once stated that you would alert anyone. I am and was dissatisfied with your responses. I hope in the future you would talk to your customers with respect. I have read many reviews for Orenco Garden's Apartments and it seems like there is many people who feel like you can be rude. Also, talking to other people that live here also agree. I don't mean this review to be mean in anyway!! I think that you are very knowledgable when it comes to your job, but I feel you can be rude. I hope you would maybe realize if so many people feel that you can be rude, that you may want to change that. The other women you work with are wonderful. I wish I could say the same about you. Sorry, I did not misconstrued the conversation. You did say that!

I didn't think staff members were allowed to come argue about things on here. It just shows that they are that low they read apartment ratings and argue. You would think if someone had an issue with you and you knew the person you would confront them personally in private. This is why I can't stand her either. I will be moving soon enough.

I was told that this person no longer is working there. Or at least isn't at that complex anymore. This was last week. Anyway, I think they employees should have a right to defend themselves anyway. Otherwise you have a venue where everything goes downhill. I'm not staying the original poster is wrong (he/she probably isn't), I just think the staff should have a right and be expected to reply to messages here.
You mention someone confronting the staff member personally and in private... umm... that didn't happen to them, comments were posted here instead. So that argument goes out the window too.

Ha ha! This cracks me up. I don't live in those apartments, but I work for someone who is disabled there and I am there several times a week. Sometimes I need to interact with the office on his behalf. Some of the staff is very nice, but some of the staff are total -------! I don't know if this is the same woman, but often I've gone in there to get a package or pay his rent and I get the feeling that I'm completely ruining their day to have to get off their asses and bother with me! And that office is NEVER open!! They close it ALL THE TIME! Sometimes the man I work for needs to get packages of medical supplies that are quite urgent and I have to wait and wait and wait for that office to open up. This is during regular business hours. I know sometimes they need to close up to show an apartment, but they are gone for HOURS! I think they go out drinking all day or something. Anyway, I love that this bitchy woman felt the need to come and reply here. Proves the point, that office is beyond snootyville!
