I don't know who this last joker is recommending living here but you should avoid this place. Just yesterday I was working out and went to get a glass of water from the lobby when I saw just how rude the office staff can be. I may have only witnessed part of the confrontation, but serisouly how unprofessional to do it in the lobby. This place is a joke, high priced rent, takes forever to get a lightbulb changed and staff could really care less. But come and see for yourself.

All I can say, is if you weren't witness to the beginning of this confrontation, how are you so sure they were kicking him out simply for asking for paper? This sounds absurd. I am friends with one of the three office staff at Orenco, two others, not so much. But I find it very hard to imagine, even given their shortcomings, that anyone in that office would kick someone out simply for asking for paper. Residents are often hostile and abusive to the office staff for no reason at all. If you actually did see the entire event and know for certain this resident was a polite, unassuming person, just needing paper for the printer, and the staff, with no provocation whatsoever, kicked him out of the business center just for kicks, then you're right, that's f'ed up. I just can't imagine it. As for lightbulbs, I doubt changing lightbulbs are at the top of the maintenance priority list. I would like to think if my water heater broke, it would get fixed before a lightbulb was replaced. Not to mention, why can't you replace your own lightbulbs like everyone else?

Hmmmmm...... When a lightbulb goes out on a lamp do you ask the maintenance people to replace that as well? Go replace your own light bulb. Maintenance is there for maintenance not as your own personal assistant. Here's what you need to do..... 1. Drive to Winco....2. Go to the lightbulb section.....3. Get in line to buy it.....4. Drive home....5. Get a chair, stand on it......6. Twist the old light bulb out......7.Twist the new lightbulb in the opposite way you took the other one out. 8. TA DA- You have now have light!!!!!!!!!

This really is a great place to live and I would continue to recommend others to live here. How many places have the square footage, workout facilities, computer room with printing, pool and doggy bags available not to mention the easy access to the Max? Not many. Additionally, Orenco has all types of families living here, from young couples to older with kids, business renters and everything in between and yet it is still very quiet around here. Just remember that while you said in your previous post (which you rightfully edited) you would break your lease early, others are sad to have to move - it can be really difficult to find an apartment complex to call home, not to mention with the ammenities and staff that really does want to help their residents. And as for lightbulbs, they've replaced ours in a timely fashion, it's not like lightbulbs are a priority, so get over it.

How is the office going to ask someone who is being irate to leave? Are they to say please come into my office so I can tell you to leave? That does not make any sense. If the office ladies felt threaten they have every right to tell someone to leave. Also, High price... I think not! Take a look at the prices in the area. You are in Orenco if you want cheap rent go to down town Hillsboro! Also why should the ladies care about a stupid light bulb? I am sure they have way better things to do. It sounds like they have their hands full already with ass holes like you. By the way I happen to like the staff at Orenco. They have always been nice and accommodating and go out of there way to help others. Leave them alone. I am so tired of this sight constantly picking apart these ladies who are just doing their job! I feel bad that there is a sight like this where people can go and pick them apart if they don???t like an answer or response they receive. Grow up and get over it. And hey here is a thought if you don???t like something you think it will be fixed by running to this place and posting? How about voice your opinion to someone who can fix it like the management company. Or could it be that you really have nothing to complain about and you are just a negative person who is unhappy with there life and you get some strange satisfaction about posting negative crap?

You really need to get over the lightbulb issue. You sound dumb. The office staff really genuinely most certainly DOES NOT care if your light bulbs are out as one of their main priorities. Why would they? Lots of places would laugh out loud if you asked them to change a light bulb. Just keep on with your mad self....I can't actually figure out what you're so mad about.
