I moved in December of 2007, I wished I had seen this website before I signed the papers, everything negative you read about this place is 0 true. I payed $650.00 in deposites when i moved in. When I moved out Rock Creek charged me $875.00 for damages on the apartment. I only lived there for a year and I will admit the carpet was bad, but other then that I clean that apratment for 6 hours when I moved out. When I got the bill through the mail I was charged $30 for dirty bath tub, $30 for dirty washer and dryer $250.00 for new paint in the bedroom, (even though I used there paint to paint the walls with and said it was okay) $15 for dirty blinds and the list goes on forever. I was so angry. Now they sent my bill to company called Preston mitchell company, thats trying to collect that debt,I refuse to pay it because I dont owe them jack didly. Any advise, the company threatens to send my file to collections, and I'am joining the airforce, and cant have any bad credit history. In additions I just simply cant afford that haha. I think the company might be bluffing to scare me into paying them, I dont know though, I guess we will see haha.

I had a friend who lived at Rock Creek Landing and broke her lease because she got married and they were going to make her move out unless her husbands credit was good enough. They thought that was ridiculous so moved (and got a way better place), but management told her it would go to collections (the lease break amount) and it NEVER showed on her credit. So I wouldnt trust a thing they say!

I had the same experience. They are literal assh***. People don't ever stay int his apt. you will be ripped off royally. They are cheaters. They can really beg on the streets instead of doing this......

I had the same experience. I am a family man who hates dirt. 3 of us spent 6 hours cleaning the apt and then they billed me for $300. The apt was immaculate when we left. I am not paying them squat.

You probably did ---- everything up and you wanted your deposit back. You messed up the carpet, didn't clean the blinds, the tub was a pigsty w/cooties, and the washer and dry was probably nasty, too. It costs $300 bucks to have a professional maid service and they don't do washers, dryers, windows, or blinds. I think you owe more than that if you screwed up the carpet you should recarpet it ($1200 for cheap carpet). Going to airforce huh? If you don't stay clean there, you end up cleaning toilets in jail. How many wild gatherings did you throw in your apartment, Mr. Perfect?

the 30 day notice has a cleaning charge list. It is your own fault if you didn't clean the items the right way. They keep pictures as proof so I will take their side vs yours. They have the best down to Earth manager I have ever met. She calls you on your birthday to wish you a wonderful day. She throws a great party in the summer every year for residents. She does things for you during the holidays and always tries to solve any issue you have that you tell her about. You are so full of BS.
