So far I have had a really nice experience with the office/management staff. They have gotten me set up in a nice apartment and I am moving in in two weeks. They are, however, charging me a rather large deposit...almost too large for my taste, but I have some credit issues so I guess it's understandable and I shouldn't complain. They have been very accepting of my animals and when they did the pet interview with my dog, they were very nice and even brought my dog a biscuit. The complex is clean, and I've driven through it during various times of the day and week and it always seems to be a mellow place to be. I know that I am moving into an apartment and am expecting to hear peoples footsteps above me, and occasional TV, probably a loud stereo once in a while, and an occasional maintenance repair here and there, but so far I am pleased. The office/management personnel have been very nice. I will write another review in a couple months. So far I would give this place a thumbs up!!

While I'm not as venomous as foxygurl4080, I do agree that wait till there is an issue or you move out, then you will see what the property management is really about.

You put a lot of thought into your review, but you don't live here. Please re-rate after you've lived here 6 months.

While I am sorry to hear of everyones troubles with the Seneca Village Apartments, I have now been here for 3 months. I have never had any issues or problems with the management. They have always been friendly, helpful, and flexible with me. I have not witnessed anybody digging through the garbage. I do occasionally see some dog mess on the lawns, maybe a handful of times since I moved in, but I am actually surprised as I thought people would be a lot less compliant with this rule. As far as people not cleaning up after their pets. Management has rules and fines for people who do not do this and it seems to me they do their best with it. Ultimately it is the renters that need to be accountable for their pets and for following the rules and I don't see how one could blame the management for someone else breaking the rules.
I have not seen any mold in my apartment and I follow the suggestions about running fans with showers and laundry to help keep moisture down. There was an issue with one of my windows (not related to leakage) and when notified, maintenance personal were out to fix this within the week. I have found the maintenance personal to be quite friendly. They always smile and wave at me when they are out and about.
To those that experienced the mold issues. I am sorry you experienced that. It sounds very frustrating. I'm not sure how well you followed up with it though because it sounds like there was a lot of damage (clothing/furniture lost). I do not think that management or maintenance would just let it go if there was mold because these apartments only rent if they are clean and in good condition and mold is a health hazard. If the mold is not contained, it will spread and I think the apartments can be shut down for that. It doesn't make sense that management would let that go as they only make money when their apartments are renting or being rented. Not dealing with a mold issue would be like shooting themselves in the foot.
I have never had any parking issues. 3 months and no one has ever parked in my spot.
Things I have noticed....
I live by the pool...now that it is warming up a bit, people are taking their kids swimming and there has been an increase in noise from kids playing and splashing during the day. This is not a complaint...sometimes it's a little annoying, but it is to be expected when you live by the pool. On a very rare occasion, someone will sneak in to the hot tub around 1 or 2 in the morning and they will be talking a little loud, but this has only happened a couple times. It's cool though at the same time cause a lot of people have been barbecuing by the pool side on the nice days and it smells great!!
On occasion, there is quite a bit of noise that comes from the upstairs apartment from me, but it is only every other weekend when there are kids in the apartment. I'm not sure, but I think the man above me is a single Father who gets his kids every other weekend. Again, not a complaint...sometimes annoying, yes, but still to be expected.
Some things I like about living here. There's good lighting in the community at night. The community is kept up well as far as groundskeeping. My apartment feels like a home. The people in the community are friendly. Staff here has been friendly.
It's unfortunate that not enough people come here to share what is going well where they live. It seems like most of these sites end up being inundated by people who only want to focus on the negatives.
I will post again in a couple months and let you all know how I it is going. So far, I don't regret moving here at all.

Yeah, do not move in! We were long time residents. We went to them when we lost our jobs, we were completely honest with them, and they said oh don't worry, it will be fine. We will not charge you for that since you have never had any upgrades and were never a problem. We lived there with mold and nothing ever done. We were told by Mario that it was just condensation, just water. Not! Tony with the prior management company came out and sprayed clorox and painted over it and told us to buy the small mildew packets for the closet and run the fan. All of which we did, and you guessed it -- MOLD - we lost clothes, shoes, it covered out furniture, etc. They are a joke. I can't believe that no one is honest anymore. Now, they are "raping" us for charges that we were not to be charged. We were also told that we could make payments because we were breaking the lease -- no, that is incorrect also. We were not the only ones with mold, only a select few picked up after their pets, so you walked around dog mess constantly, there was always people digging in the garbage, etc. They throw the line out, you grab hold and you are sunk! If you would like to see the picture that we have of the apartment and what the mold does, please email. We will be happy to send them to you. Don't rent from this company!!!!!!!!!!! The hardest thing for our family to believe, is that this is the way business is to be run today with people loosing their livelihoods and this is the way people are treating people. Now, you have been warned!!!!!!!!!!
