We moved in at the beginning of April, within the first week we had the maintenance guys out 4 times! The apartment was obviously NOT ready for tenants. I had visited the area in late February to finalize paperwork and take a look at the lay out. Well I noticed during the tour 4-5 stains on the living room floor, scratches and stains on the kitchen counters, the carpet was coming up as you entered both bedrooms...I could go on and on. Anyway when we moved in a month later from southern California and to my surprise NOTHING had been done. My biggest complaints is the noise. We are in the center of the complex on the bottom which is wonderful because we can barely hear the traffic on Evergreen or 188th BUT the neighbors up stairs make up for that! We hear everything; constant stomping, the sliding door opening and closing all hours of the night, they even had a fight at 3:30am, it was so bad we had to call the police!!! I'm shocked at how thin these walls are! The maintenance is slow to respond, the staff is lousy (Excluding Rheba) and they are NEVER there! It's not all bad though...my area of the complex I always have parking, we are very close to the highway, shopping, restaurants, and walking distance to 2 large shopping centers as well as a Theater! And then again...our washing machine was leaking and the service guy told us we just over filled it....I looked at him very confused....2 pairs of jeans and some socks''' The next day it was leaking more...turns out we needed a spring...that took 2 days to fix with no phone calls and a surprise visit. SIGH....Its been 3 weeks tomorrow and I just need some sleep...I've complained to the office about the folks ups stairs but they just keep stomping and talking into all hours of the night (I don't mean 11 or 12 ish....I'm talking 3 and 4 am!) be weary Oregonians...I'm sure you can find a much nicer apartment. OH! One more thing the exterior paint (mustard yellow) is horrid.
