Tanasbourne Terrace

This place sucks monkey balls From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/12/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   So the basic gist of it... Me and my boyfriend were young and naieve. Didn't think anything of getting an apartment in Tanasbourne, he works at Intel so it seemed logical. We didn't shop around. We are getting charged $723 a month for a ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT! Average around Washington County (Not including Bull Mountain, Tansbourne, or any complex with Lake Oswego) is about $675, INCLUDING water/sewer/garbage. So our rent in the end comes out to being about $775 because of water/sewer/garbage... Apparently being charged for that is MOST unusual. One other thing... When we first showed interest in the apartment, the Manager told us that rent would be about $685 and water/sewer/garbage was paid for. We come in a month later to sign a lease... and PRESTO CHANGO... The toilets run like mad, ours flushes three to four times each. Our balcony is on the street so our apartment has a lot of noise, including early morning leaf blowing/weed whackers. We hear our neighbors music constantly. Parking is horrible and the devil children who live around us stare at us every time we walk across the lot. The building across the way from us has a bunch of punk college boys living in it, there's a different underage looking group of females there every night and a pot smell. The pool is constantly dirty, and the hot tub near us has been dirty and broken since we moved in five months ago. The fixtures in our apartment are cheap, and our washing machine makes a noise like a dying cat every time we wash laundry. Don't sign a year lease year, I promise you will regret it. Find somewhere else your money is better spent.
