You know, I used to live in a trailer park in the middle of nowhere. Having lived here for 2 years, I miss it now. Our neighbors are constantly being noisy, and everytime we tell management about it, nothing is done. Our bathroom sink always has water pressure issues even after being repaired. The gym is always shut down over little things like writing on a wall or something. This is a trouble spot with fleas, so if you bring an otherwise clean pet, be prepared to see them itching and biting out fur a lot. I read another review on here with a reply that mentioned there never being move-in fees. Yes, there are. I remember paying a ton when we first moved in, most of it was things that they seemed to come up with on the spot. And now we noticed that rent went up when we were told that it ONLY goes up after you sign a new contract after your original lease is up. We never signed a new one, and yet there's the new price.
These aren't even that nice. Any time we have friends over, they comment on how they look kind of ugly on the outside. At best, the living rooms are spacious, to an extent. But the bedrooms and bathrooms leave a lot to be desired in order to justify the new price tag for 2 bed/2 bath units. I check Craigslist and see that there are much bigger townhouses for a hundred bucks cheaper than what we're paying here. Why the insane cost' That extra money obviously isn't going toward anything useful. The tennis courts look run-down, the driveways are very uneven and cracked, and the little security locks on the laundry room and gym never work 3/4 of the time.
I keep looking forward to the day when we can move out of here and get somewhere that's actually quiet, respectable (I won't even get started on the race issue here), and a fair price for what we're paying for. If you have no other choice, then move on in. Otherwise, keep searching.
