I'm not living here...I recommend you don't either!

I have not lived there, but my wife and I recently checked out these apartments. Bottom line, the management is the worst I've ever dealt with! Due to my own circumstances I find myself moving ever year. So, for the past 7 years I've lived in various apartments. The management at Commons is definitely lacking. Here was our experience if you're interested.

1) Our first visit should have been a clue...we didn't have an appointment, but we thought we would drop by and check them out. We ended up waiting around for an hour to finally talk to someone...I have never had to do that before! We ended up taking a tour of an apartment. It was really interesting to see the leasing agents kind of go at it while we where there...very strange and not professional behavior.

2) Well, we ended up deciding to go with the Commons (i.e. they where reasonably priced, they had a $140 off special, and they seemed like okay apartments). So, we completed our applications ($80). Then we gave them a check for $150 to hold the apartment. They said it would go toward the move in costs.

4) My wife received a call from the management saying we had been approved and that our security deposit would be $250...more to come on this one.

3) We made an appointment with them on a Saturday to sign all the paper work and make it official. We showed up at our appointment time to find out they had booked three appointments at the same time. We were told to come back 2 hours later...signs of poor management to me.

4) We show up again 2 hours later and then we find out that our security deposit was now a full months rent. We asked why and they couldn't explain it. Something felt weird so we left and didn't sign the papers. We were told that we have 72 hours to pull out from the process and not lose our $150 deposit. I found out today that they had actually already cashed the check and did not wait the full 72 hours...more signs of poor management.

We are told that we will be refunded...we better!

If I were you I would not live at this place...the management is in serious need of help!
