I have never had a problem with the management, I actually like Debbie the main manager is very nice and I kind of feel like she actually cares about you. However, that doesn't mean I haven't had problems with things getting fixed the way I want. First of all I feel an apartment should come with brand new carpet, not if it is in pristine shape (which mine WASN'T) and not exactly in every room but definetly in the high traffic areas. First of all I wasn't even able to see the apt. before it was chosen for me. Pretty much I told them I wanted a two bedroom one bath and they said the apt. wouldn't be ready for me until a certain date and because of that I didn't get to see it until the day I was to move in. Kinda weird but I had no choice to move and my mom had already moved into a 1 bedroom (did I mention my 2 kids and I were living there waiting for my apt. to be ready) and I can't be far from her so I took the apt. And they knew that I needed to move asap.

Back to the carpet issue, my mom had all new carpet (except for her room) and new appliances so I guess I was expecting the same. The carpet was still wet when we looked at it and smelled funny and continued to have a strange smell of must and cat pee for about 6 months later, you can even ask anybody who came in my house. Not to mention as soon as a few days passed the carpet's true colors shown through and I could tell that the carpet should have been replaced and they kinda screwed me. And to be honest I feel like they did all these nice things for my mom's apt because she is older, I was not yet 20 yet and was pretty much the young almost 1st time renter and they could get away with crap like that.

After a handful of uses on my stove it turned to a brown burnt color around the burners. My uncle who has spray painted appliances knew right away that it was not new, the apts. spray painted it and missed some sort of priming step causing it to turn that color. Well the lady in the office told me oh no we don't do that. The next maint. guy (the cool one that actually knew what he was doing and who no longer works there) told me yes it def. looked like they did that and he could look for a complete replacement top, he would talk to management. Not only was he considering that but because the main burner stopped working also. Well they never did anything about either of them and the burner ended up working when I shoved the thing in there so I never had them come back. For the burned look, my mom just cleaned it for me until her hands almost fell off. Well I called again when one day the same burner sparked at me so bad that my 4 yr old in the living room asked "mommy are you ok'". Here I am thinking wow maybe they will finally change out this extinct stove, nope they fixed that one outlet and that was it.

I asked a while ago to weatherstrip my back door since you can get on the floor and feel cold air coming out not to mention see outside, my main concern was spiders not even the draft! Well they put a stupid piece of plastic along the bottom but didn't even cover the hole I was having a problem with. I talked to my neighbor who said she had the same problem and they did the same thing, never covered the hole so she asked for them to do it again, and their reply was, we did it already.

THE WINDOWS CONDENCEND SO BAD THAT THERE ARE POOLS OF WATER ALL OVER THE WINDOW SEALS AT ALL TIMES AND PINK AND BLACK MOLD THAT I CAN NOT GET RID OF FULLY. Not to mention that but on Monday (2 days ago) I noticed after moving my couch (that I just cleaned behind last month and never saw anything)BLACK TOXIC mold growing all over the walls and a huge amount on the door frame (right above that hole area) and also in a small corner coming out of the cracks in my bedroom. My words won't even do this mold justice but my pictures do. And I won't really go into how bad ALL the windows are because I know landlords will always tell people that the windows are nothing they can do, just clean them. I guess I will just have to do that every week! In between my busy schedule. The mold on the wall, they said they would take a look at it, well it was still there when I got home last night and no call today and no call back yet. I would think that they would want to get rid of that right away since I have a baby crawling on the floor and another small child, and I am very allergic to mold. After researching online I found this is the black mold that is toxic and yes I had a pounding headache for three hours after getting close and taking the pictures.

I am pretty sure they are going to tell me to clean it myself because when I complained about how cold it is to sit on the couch near the two windows I was told it was because the window was slightly open (BS!) and that the apts. know about the condensation problem but will not do anything about it and will make the renter responsible for the damage caused by it and we should put a fan near it. Yea I will put a fan next to the already cold air coming through IN THE WINTER. And yes this was the same knowledgeable maint. guy that no longer works here, go figure. I am beginning to think that maybe the reason my apt. took so long to get ready was because of a pre-consisting mold problem and that is why it smelled so musty, I would love to pull the carpet back and look under there. Based off this mold issue I have been searching for new places to live. However I am terrified to leave the place because they will probably charge me for things that were already there or a rubberband on the closet floor like I keep hearing about on these reviews.

I won't even go into the fact that I pay $670.50 a month yet my mom's $650 for a one bedroom has been moved up to $770 a month with no real explanation why, and yes I am also thinking they have never upped my rent because of the mold problem or the fact that my apt. looks so used up. And my mom has to litterally walk forever some nights to get to her apt. because of parking. And my mom fell on her butt bad TWICE by my apts. because of the lighting.

Arg, however I love the wooded area and the cool shopping thing across the street, and the pool isn't too bad. Do not like how the rented clubhouse area is the same as their office space because when you need the place you can't have your party until 5:00 or 6:00 depending on when they leave for the day.
