Nice facade, not a good place to live

When I look back, I don't know why we put up with Verandas for so long! We were there for three years. The first year was okay, and it just went south from there.
Some highlights:
They towed my car. Not sure why... They couldn't explain it. I went to drive it to work on a Monday morning and had the presence of mind to call the management before reporting it stolen. They had marked it with a 72-hour towing notice on a Friday night and towed it the next morning. (I was out of town for the weekend.) Of course I had to drive an hour across town to get my car. (The axle was damaged by the tow company.)
You could forget about finding a parking spot within 300 yards if you got home after 9 PM.
Surprisingly noisy. So pretty on the outside. But like cardboard on the inside. (The bathroom fixtures were particularly cheap.)
They seemed to get less and less selective about new tenants as time went on. We had a lot of nice neighbors at first. By the time we left, there were a lot more late night police calls to the complex.
I would not recommend... They look nice, but we did not get what we paid for.
