My Experience

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
My experience at Thorncroft Farms has been interesting. While the apartments are attractive (i.e. especially the model unit) I find them to have very poor insulation. Even with very minimal controlled heating usage, my PGE bill still came to $80 bucks for the month. So if you want to freeze your buns off then this place is perfect for you.
Also, while enjoying time spent in your living room of a 2br/1ba apt you will encounter the annoying sound of people walking up and down the stairs and door slamming. The walls are so thin. And if you're not living on the top floor you will hear your neighbors up stairs thump around their apartment very loudly.
Maintenance has responded very quickly so far for the 2x that I had to call them.
Everything seems to be working great in the apartment and the rate (at least the one that I caught that day) is pretty reasonable. Note* the rates for the apartments change daily so don't settle for or miss out on a great price. Do your research.
Parking isn't as much of a challenge if you live in the buildings toward the back of the complex. There seems to be ample parking spaces for me even if I decided to come home at 9pm, 2am, or 4am!
Staffing: You would want to make sure you get a receipt for ALL transactions. As they seem to make a few errors and then claim that your account is delinquent.
