Management has changed for the worse

I have lived there for over five years without a single complaint. I love to play racquetball and tennis. The racquetball court is painted gray and the lighting is terrible. I have requested the court walls to be painted white, which is standard and would improve illumination. I have listed to empty promises for over five years and still no re-painting, even though they spent a fortune on the outside painting. There is a new manager every year or so, so requests like this keep being put on the bottom of the pile.
I asked for five years to have the tennis net replaced and again the same empty promises that it was on top of the list. They still use the net that I have fastened to the net cable.
Don't be late or have your rent check bounce. The fees are excessive.
The office staff and management staff changes very often but the maintenance staff are very good about fixing problems.
I had a big problem when my lease went up for renewal in July, 2008. I wasn't available to sign my new lease and management would not give my friends my lease to forward to me. The office management said I could sign the lease when I returned in a couple of months, then the office manager changed. They gave me a 30 day notice to vacate and then put me on a month to month rate that was $495 more than the rate of the lease I wanted to sign but couldn't. I was then given an eviction notice when I didn't pay the $495 extra plus $100 late fee. It's all about money and fees.
After five years without a neighbor complaint, I left with a bad taste in my mouth.
