Great place to live. I have lived here for several years, and love the neighbors (many are my friends now), enjoy being so close to the lake and the library and restaurants, etc.
The management is great here -- they even have a Christmas party every year and I know they pay for the whole thing themselves. They want longtime residents to be able to get together, and have new residents get acquainted so they can be part of the "family" of tenants.
I know about the tree incident. That past resident is just mad because she was evicted for moving in an unauthorized person, leaving her apt. trashed (no deposit back' Hmmmmmmmm), using profanity loudly -- everything that no other tenant would think of doing here. Sour grapes, I guess.

You may have knowledge about the "tree incident" but the rest of your facts are completely untrue. The tenant involved WAS NOT evicted from the apartment, nor has she ever been evicted. She was the only person living there and never tried to move anyone in, especially an "unauthorized person". She was the one who decided to leave the apartment. There were several people including the tenant who cleaned the apartment THOROUGHLY before moving out. The problems occurred after moving out (August 2004). The tenant who lived there was a model tenant who never had any noise complaints, was friends with several of the neighbors, and kept an immaculately clean apartment. She moved because the neighbors around were becoming increasingly sketchy (drugs, loud music at all hours, profanity). It sounds like it has improved greatly which is nice to hear.
