Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
Mylease is about to expire and the office is houding me about renewing. The office staff seem ill equiped to manage anything besides renewals. They only want to increase my rent $25 over last year, so I guess that isn't too bad for the market right now.
The noise of neighbors is obnoxious...like you hear the upstairs neighbors peeing! yes peeing. That alone says what you can hear about more intimate moments. I hear my upstairs neighbor open and close cabinets, cook dinner, watch tv.
Conversly, it is close to my work and does include the basics which is nice. I have gotten things repaired resonably well when I have asked, that is also a bonus.
