I have lived at Kruseway commons for over a year now (1bdrm). Yes, they are nice and I haven't had any trouble with the staff. The apartments are pretty quiet, too - I rarely hear neighbors. There are just a few things people considering Kruseway commons might want to know:
-Storage is bad for what you pay for: There is one storage closet off of the balcony - and that's great, but inside storage isn't so great. There is a weird, narrow built-in shelf system in the bathroom that holds only a few towels (or all of your toiletries, I guess). There is one closet for coats (fine) and a nice bedroom closet, but only one small linen closet. If you have multiple blankets, sheets, towels, etc., there just isn't room.
-The kitchen looks really nice at first, but after a while you start noticing things like all of the drawers are too narrow to hold a standard utensil-holder (one of those things that separates all of your spoons/knives/forks). Also, the kitchen sink fixtures (and the bathroom for that matter) look like high quality, but turn out to be cheap because they come loose.
Heating in the bedroom is baseboard - seems kind of antiquated for nowadays and not very efficient. Living room/dinining room heat is a wall-mounted system - also not very efficient.
You'll pay an additional $40 to $50 a month for water, sewer, garbage. and electric on top of that. They tell you cable is free, but it's not really once you consider the other expenses. I'd rather NOT have cable and have them pay for water, sewer garbage.
Recycling - if you like to recycle, then prepare to walk a ways to do so (depending on where you live). There is only one recycling collection spot and I'm about as far aways as I can be. Not very convenient.
Staff - I haven't had much bad contact, but I did experience some snottiness from one of the office girls when I had the nerve to call the second time (a day later) about a low-battery beeping coming from fire alarm thing outside.
Pet deposit is a LOT, too. $400 per pet and only half is refundable.
And finally, bus lines. If you ever want to leave your car at home, don't count on it much. There is only ONE bus that travels to that area and it only runs weekdays - no weekends.
Overall, it IS nice and very safe and a quiet area. It is easy access to the freeway, too.

I currently an a tenant at Kruseway Commons as well and I cannot agree with the post that was made here anymore. Everything seemed really great at first, and then when you start living you notice that the drawers, compartments, storage, etc, are not really that adequate and don't make sense where they are. Maintenence is very friendly and always quick to respond. Heather in the office is truly the best is always willing to bend over backwards to help. Jordan in the office however is another story. I have called before and she has always been less than pleased to have to leave her desk, take messages or respond to any requests. I have just learned to not work with her as she is rude, unpleasant, and could care less about your requests. Otherwise, Kruseway Commons is a great place to live, however, rents are rising and are a bit overpriced compared to others in the area after doing some research. So please consider all of the above before moving in.
