Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
I moved here from out of state in 2005 and rented sight unseen. I was not unhappy when I saw my new apartment. I liked the management, the price was comparable to other complexes in the area, and the kicker was free cable. A year and a half later, new management, I pay for my cable, carport, water, sewage and garbage (all included before) and my rent is going up $405.00 if I don't sign a lease and $305.00 if I do. While the upgrades are nice, they are certainly not worth the increase in rent. A house payment is less. There are other apartments with equally nice amenities that are far less expensive - and most pay for water, sewage and garbage. Finding a parking space used to be a problem but with so many people moving out it hasn't been an issue lately.
